What's up?

Well I better update my blog before life gets crazy again. Yes, baby is due in the next few weeks. Am I ready for this pregnancy to be over......Yes, physically......but NO, in terms of feeling that we have so much we want to get done before baby arrives. So I guess we will see what mother nature has in store for us. My bet is that I will go a LITTLE early, but who knows I guess only time will time.

In terms of what's new with us....hmmm, we are just keeping busy with everyday life. Jason is finishing up another class down town and doing a little bit of tutoring on the side, and we are slowly but surely making progress on completing our basement. Tristen and Blake are also doing well, Blake has found his voice and loves screaming and climbing these days. Tristen is enjoying preschool more (THANK HEAVENS :), I've had my moments where I just wanted to take her out of it because I wasn't sure if she was emotionally mature enough. But I am very happy with the progress she has made. Tristen went from pretending to be asleep in her car seat so she wouldn't have to go to school (or so she thought),  to telling me she" had sooo much fun at school today". So hopefully she  will continue liking preschool. On another positive note, I am beyond happy that all the snow has melted and that the spring weather is finally here. We went on a walk yesterday and it was very refreshing just to be outside without winter coats. It makes me wonder why I live in Chicago when we are stuck indoors for at least a quarter of the year hibernating when we could be enjoying the WARM outdoors more. Who knows what the future has instore for us, perhaps a warmer climate : )  Any ways, our little family is healthy and happy, and we feel very blessed for all the good things we have going on in life.

On a side note, here are some pics of the kids playing together. A little background on the pics, Tristen goes into Blakes room every morning/naptime after he wakes up to play with him. Well she likes to play dress up and she often put lots of toys in his crib. Hey whatever entertains them right??? So below are some pics after naptime when Tristen wanted to play dress up (she likes to wear her Sunday dresses rather than her other dress up clothes...hmmm not to sure why, but whatever)

Tristen and Blake playing in Blakes crib after naptime

I like that her dress is on backwards, it makes it easier to zip up :)

The infamous rubber chicken in our house, the kids love this thing. I wanted to take a pic of Tristen and she said no, then I told her I would take a picture of her and the chicken so she grabbed it and smiled big.

Blake and the rubber chicken, he runs around the house saying "bock, bock" all the time, it's kinda cute.

Not so cute me, and the kids. I take one prego pic during my pregnancy or if I take more I will maybe only post one of the belly. Sorry folks not a big fan of my prego body, especially when I am due in a couple weeks. Oh well, I will have my body back soon enough :)
