Our New Purchase..Yes, we are an official Mormon Family...minus 2 kids

Here is a picture of our new van, same color and all (sandstone is the official color)

This picture brings tears of joy to my life!!! Nothing beats stain resistant fabric.....beautiful, wonderful, simply brilliant!

Well we finally did it, we bought a new vehicle. We were planning on buying one eventually, but we had no intention of buying one this month. We were actually going to look for a new vehicle just before baby #2 arrived. But thanks to a code/discount that saved us a lot of money, a few nice rebates on top of the discounted price(over $2000), and thanks to a sales guy named MIKE, we have our new 2008 Dodge Caravan. It is a great van...yes, one can say that I am excited about it. I wasn't sure how I felt about getting a vehicle before our planned purchase time, but with a lot of research and price comparison I know we couldn't go wrong with this purchase. So after going car payment free for the past 3 years, we now have one. It is alright though, it is a wonderful vehicle with a lot of great perks (power sliding doors, fold in chairs/backseat, extra storage, stain resistant fabric throughout, tinted windows, airbags that extend all the way to the backseat, and the steering wheel has the ability change the radio channels). I asked Jason the morning after we purchased our van if he had buyers remorse, but we both agreed that was a wise purchase and that would meet our expanding family's needs. He was excited that I would have a nice new van to drive. It is a nice van, and though it has many nice features, especially compared to the 2000 Honda Civic I have been driving, I am glad that we aren't paying full price for it. Well I guess I feel a little bit older...kinda like a parent, which I am, but I have a "VAN", hmmm....I feel like I am an official member of the Mormon club. After baby #2 arrives, then we just need to have 2 more kids to be considered True members of the the Mormon club (lol). Stereotypes, you have to love them :)
