Keeping Busy
I just thought I would update my blog since it has been a while. Not too much is new with us, just living the busy life. Jason started MBA school and is now 6 weeks into his program. He recently took his first set of midterms, and so far so good. MBA school has been a bit of an adjustment for me and the kids, but no complaints. I have been keeping busy myself focusing on some of my own goals for 2009. But we are all happy and doing our best to keep things in perspective. I am personally counting down the days until my exciting adventure at HARPO studio. I am so curious as to what show I will get to see. I am also trying to figure out what to wear....that is the tricky but fun part. Oh well I guess I will have to wait just a couple more weeks. On a side note, Tristen and Blake are doing well...yes I have been a complete slacker and haven't been taking pictures...I will do better. Blake is crawling (or as we call it, "doing the worm") all over the place. He has been having a rough time cutting teeth 3&4, but he is hanging in there....at the expense of mom and dad's sleep, fun times huh?. Tristen is aa crazy as usual. She is wonderful, but she is a total nut at times. She is talking non stop these days and is ready for school now (she will have to wait till the fall to go to preschool). One of the things she does that totally cracks me up, but makes me want to be a bit more careful is when she does something wrong or drops something, she pauses and then says "Oh my crap". Yes .... my 2 year old has a potty mouth. I guess I say "oh my gosh" and "crap" a lot, and well .... I guess she picked up on it and combined both expressions. Yes, I guess I am out of the running for the mommy of the year award. Oh well, next year right :) So I think my 2 year old will make me a better person in more ways than I ever anticipated. Kids, you gotta love them! Thanks Tristen for helping me be a "better" or at least a more careful person ;)
