Well today is our wedding anniversary!!!!! Yes, we have been married for 3 years now. We actually celebrated it this past weekend. We figured it would be a good idea to celebrate it by doing things we know we won't be doing for a while b/c of the soon to be arrival. So Jason and I decided to go to a nice restaurant called the Wildfire Grill and then to a movie. As simple and as standard as this may seem, it was a nice and relaxing evening out. I think the best part was just having one on one time with Jason and knowing that Tristen was taken care of. We also didn't have any time constraints because Tristen was spending the night at Jason's parents. It was weird having an entire evening and a good portion of the next day to ourselves. It was also weird not waking up to Tristen and not going through the everyday motions of mommyhood. It was especially weird going to the grocery store and taking our sweet time to look and do whatever we wanted. I definitely recommend all parents to have an occasional night away from their kids, it is therapeutic and allows you to spend some quality time with your spouse. We of course missed Tristen and looked forward to picking her up, but overall we all had a wonderful weekend (Tristen included).

When's the little one due?
We've found that we have to get away too once in awhile. It is so nice to be able to go to the store and just dilly dally.
Hope all is going well! Congrats on 3 years!
