So as I mentioned in my previous blog Tristen has been very jealous of the new baby at times. Well one day a friend of mine from church called and asked if she could take Tristen for a couple of hours so I could have a break. I was very hesitant at first to yes, but I thought maybe it might be the best thing for Tristen since I don't want to take Blake outside too much in this hot and humid weather. The only reason why I was hestitant (yes most parents would jump at the chance to get a couple hours away from their almost 2 yr old when they have been acting up a lot) was due to the fact that besides Jason and myself and the grandparents, Tristen has never been with anyone else. Tristen in the last couple of months has finally developed more of an interest in other kids and in the nursery so I was crossing my fingers that she would love the play date I set up for her.
