Spring Is Here...FINALLY

Just wanted to post a few pictures of what we have been doing over the past few weeks since the weather has been getting nicer in the Chicagoland area. Tristen and I went to a little zoo (more like a kids farm) one day with play group and had a great time minus the car ride home. On the way home Tristen got sick (I'll spare you the details, but it was the first time she has been sick as a toddler and the poor thing was out of commission for a week). Here are a few pics of our outing.

Which one is the turkey???? :)

Tristen wishing she could jump the fence (OK crawl under it) and play with the animals

Not exactly sure what type of animal is in this shot

Our little family has also been spending a lot of time out in the backyard over the past few weeks. Especially myself and Tristen, since Tristen can go on non-stop during the day about how she wants to GO OUTSIDE!!!! Yes, so mommy sits on the porch step and throws Tristen a ball (Ok, kinda like a game of fetch) but mommy can't run around and chase after her like daddy does since she already uses up enough energy doing day to day tasks and carrying baby#2. Anyways here are a couple pics I took one afternoon while Tristen and I were chilling in the backyard.

Tristen playing in her little car in the yard

OK, so I had to add this creepy picture. Tristen is all of a sudden saying CHEESE when her pic is being taken (without being asked by the way) and this is what her face ends up looking like...kind of funny

Tristen playing on her little 8 in 1 climber

Tristen and another one of her "CHEESY" smiles

Tristen chasing after the ball (Ok, so she was fetching the ball)

Tristen bringing the ball back to mom, I think we played this game for at least 20-30minutes, apparently she liked it.

We hope things are moving quickly for you! Hopefully, it isn't too much longer. Two kids are a lot of fun, just because they play with each other more than you. Of course, that means that they also come crying when they don't play nice.
